Attendant Serial Call

Description

Attendant Serial Call allows the attendant to have a call extended to a destination within the system environment, and automatically returned to the console after the call is completed so the originating caller may be connected to another party by the attendant.

IP Console Applications

To set up a serial call for a caller in the Source or Destination area:

  1. Ask the caller to remain on the line after completing each call.

  2. Select Set Serial Call.

  3. Dial an extension number.

  4. Select Release or the + key on the numeric keypad (MiVoice Business Console).

The console is released from the call. When the extension you dialed hangs up, the Serial Call returns to the console as a Recall.

To cancel a Serial Call:

If the serial call recalls and no one is there, it means the caller has hung up.

5540 IP Console

To Transfer a call and have it return to your console when completed:

  1. Press Serial Call.

  2. Dial the number of the third party.

  3. Press Release or the + key on the numeric keypad (MiVoice Business Console).
